Dream 13 Kappa League is more than a mentoring program--it is a brotherhood dedicated to developing young men into educated,
responsible, and compassionate leaders. Through mentorship, scholarship service, leadership development, and real-world experiences, participants gain the tools necessary to achieve excellence in every area of life.

Guide Right is our National Service Initiative and includes all our youth-oriented programs. However, the Flagship Initiative of the Guide Right Service Program is the Kappa Leadership Development League (Kappa League). Guide Right is a program of the educational and occupational guidance of youth, primarily inspirational and informative in character.
The purposes of the Guide Right Service Program are to place the training, experience and interest of successful men at the disposal of youth. We focus on developing leadership, creating an achievement mindset, and mentoring We have mentored over 500,000 young people. WE ARE THE OLDEST, MOST SUCCESSFUL MENTORING PROGRAM FOR YOUNG PEOPLE OF COLOR!

- Male Students only
- open to Middle school and High school club oriented activities
- Kappa League is subset of Guide Right Dream 13 Kappa League 2026 Guide Right Application
Eligibility Criteria Summary
Residency: Must reside within the Kent County service area.
Academic Standing:
Must have maintained an overall cumulative GPA of 2.0 or above (on a 4.0 scale).
Enrollment: Must be entering your freshman year at an accredited institution of higher learning during the 2026-2027 academic year.

SECTION IV: Document Submission Checklist
Your application packet will be considered incomplete and will not be reviewed by the scholarship committee unless all of the following items are submitted together:
[ ] Completed Application Form: Fully filled out and e-signed signed.
[ ] Academic Verification: An official or unofficial copy of your academic transcript confirming a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
[ ] One-Page Typed Personal Essay: Your leadership response attached as
a separate page.
